Jay-Z will be collaborating with Adidas to design updated kit for the Brooklyn Nets for 2012 NBA. As Jay-Z owns a portion of the basketball team, he will work with the sportswear label, creatives, in order to create new team colors and updated jerseys for the newly formed team. The team is set to kick off its first 2012-2013 season with an opening concert by Jay-Z at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center which will serve as a christening as the New York Native will be the first artist to bless the stage once the centre opens to the public. Currently no ticketing dates have been made public, and the expected completion of the Barclays Center on the corner of Atlantic and Flabush Avenue is due summer 2012.

Broken foot, crutches and all, Cole performed an impromptu show of his latest single from his album “Can’t Get Enough” to an exciting crowd of on-lookers and fans in the middle of a NYC street.
