Last night (Friday 30th December 2011) 50 Cent and XXL magazine hosted an event at New York’s, Webstar Hall. 50 Cent performed a full set, despite originally being scheduled to be in the building for 30 minutes, 50 Cent decided to go hard in his city of origin. NME reports The Throne earned $6 million dollars to perform at the Sweet 16 birthday party of multi billionaire Manchester Football Club owner, Sheikh Mansour’s niece. Hov and Yeezy received $2.9 million each, a drop in the bucket for Mansour, whose wealthy family rules oil-rich Abu Dhabi.
Yeezy’s not stopping there. He plans on keeping the cash flowing through the end of the year, having recently announced he’ll DJ on New Year’s Eve under the alias Yeezy World Peace. Here is what that CRAY Genius says “My New Years DJ name is gone be YEEZY WORLD PEACE! If you book me you have to put YEEZY WORLD PEACE on the E-vite. Or I ain’t spinning,” Kanye wrote on Twitter. “Ima need a stealth bomber and 2 bottled water #YEEZYWORLDPEACE’S RIDER.”

Check out Kanye West’s protege Big Sean performing Celebrity from his debut album Finally Famous. Uploaded on November 22nd 2011 as a private video and previously not available to view in our territory, the live performance was recorded for Vevo’s series of Go Shows. The short clip is narrated by Detroit rapper Big Sean himself as the visuals document the before during and after of the performance which appeared to spontaneously take place on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Vanity fair are guilty of letting the cat out of the bag with a preview of photographs for 2012′s ambitious calendar project. This year Pirelli selected the talented Italian Photographer Mario Sorrenti noted for shooting epic and edgy images of Kate Moss, Milla Jovovich and More. Shot In corsica(France) Sorrenti has opted for a simple, more natural look by embracing the beauty of the female form.
