Recap: Rita Ora Performs Live At Notting Hill Arts Club

The i-likeitalot team were lucky enough to be at yoyo Notting Hill Arts Club on Thursday 9th February, the night that Roc Nation Artist Rita Ora performed new music from her new project expected to be released Spring/Summer 2012. Fans queued for hours in sub zero conditions as snow fell in London. Guests included Faiser from N Dubz, Rob Kardashian as well as a mixture of indie kids, swagged up bloggers and has beens. Last night big winners were british band The Foo Fighters’ “Wasting Light” collected the rock album Grammy Award. Here is Dave Grohl statement yesterday at the Grammy Awards 2012

“To me, this award means a lot because it shows the human element of making music is what’s most important—singing into a microphone, learning to play an instrument, and learning to do your craft, that’s the most important thing for people to do. Living your dreams.” J.Cole also received a $2000 bottle of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin cognac. Whitney Houston Dies Aged 48

Diva Original Whitney Houston has passed away aged 48 years old. The legendary voice, the most awarded female singer in history, star of film’s The bodyguard, Waiting To Exhale and most recently Sparkle. Whitney Houston is one of the most inspiring vocalists of our time, died earlier this afternoon. The singers publicist Kristen Foster released a statement to the Associated Press confirming Whitney Houston’s death. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Bobby Brown, Bobby Christina Brown and Whitney Houston’s friends and family. Her influence will continue to live on, her voice, innovation, music, success, artistry, ego, competence, drive, style, ambition and confidence are timeless. R.I.P Whitney Houston.
