Last night we went down to Puma Yard again to watch the epic documentary on the life of Bob Marley. We say epic as 144 minutes does take a certain amount of concentration. Never the less it’s an entertaining and insightful two and a bit hours, so if you’re at all interested in Mr. Marley try and get a look at it.
Meanwhile outside in the ‘Yard’ the track and field were being played up on the giant screen to an excited crowd. From the sea of Jamaican flags you could tell what everyone was waiting for… Puma even had a confetti cannon on standby for moment when Usain Bolt glided across the finish line in the Men’s 200 metre final. Good times!
“In June we were unaware of Keche’s existence but now in August we have become huge fans. Keche is made up of two talented Ghanaian musicians Kechepa (Joshua Ampah) and Kechede (Andrew Cudjoe). At the beginning of the summer they released a video for their hit “Aluguntugui.”
According to Modern Ghana aluguntugui is the Ga name for sweet apple, and the artists wanted a catchy and original simile for sweetness. The singers also revealed that this song is meant to be an encouragement for young men to be bold to approach ladies they find attractive and not just sit back and allow beautiful opportunities pass them by.
The dance featured in the video is called Azonto – a new dance craze born in Ghanaian fishing communities and later spread to the music scene and has since been making waves across West Africa. Azonto calls for dancers to act out their occupation. ”

We have great News the British singer-songwriter Lily Allen decided to come back to music and the fans, us are getting really excited about this news. In an official press release she mention that she went back to the studio and started recording again “excited to be heading back into the studio.” However, the Miss Lily Allen that we fell in Love with will no longer will be releasing music under her new Official name Lily Rose Cooper. The 27-year-old women got recently married and will embrace it Totally, We still don’t know when the new Music will come up but will keep you in the Loop.

“When No Doubt was just starting out in the late ’80s, rehearsing in a studio that Gwen and her brother built in their grandparents’ house with bandmates, she wasn’t able to spend much time on girly stuff. She was one of the boys, taking shifts driving their first tour bus—a vehicle that got so greasy from the guys’ unwashed hair, she couldn’t see out of the windows. “I did my own makeup, my own costumes; I did everything myself. I didn’t even know there were stylists.” She made many of her now iconic music-video outfits, though she admits that she used a glue gun as much as a sewing machine. “I remember there was a point when all the guys were sitting around eating pizza, and I finally said I needed some help. So I got an assistant, but guess who he was? A roadie.
