Performance Artist Azealia Banks has collaborated with MAC cosmetics to release a unique and fashion forward lip colour on trend for Autumn/Winter 2012. The Lipstick is called Yung Rapunxel and it’s shade (pictured below) is a dark plum grape/ eggplant purple. Available exclusively at MAC makeup counters and stores worldwide Autumn/Winter 2012.

The Brooklyn Trio explained the meaning behind their moniker, “Flatbush Zombies,” which they attribute to psychedelic experiences that they’ve had, which have changed their lives. The group also shared several deep psychedelic experiences they’ve had, define the different effects of substances they’ve tried and what they like the best.
“The tentacular Octopussy floor lamp has a giant eye-shaped light and tentacle-like legs. It was created by Russian designer Vladimir Tomilov back in autumn 2011 it was awarded in Paris The design itself is not that impressive but it’s the concept that attracts attention. The Octopussy lamp has colored lens and a lampshade that resembles a huge yellow eye. It has an alien-like look. The lamp is also flexible and a design that makes it great accent piece.”

After 10 years of reigning supreme as Notting Hill’s premiere Thursday Night Staple of R’N’B/HIP HOP/Bashment and more YOYO’s founders Leo, Seb and Scott have released an official statement marking the end of the renouned signature Thursday night event.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
As of today 23.08.12, YOYO will no longer be held at the Notting Hill Arts Club. We’ve had a truly amazing time there, and would like to thank every Performer, DJ and raver who passed through our place over the years.
As you might have heard, there was an incident in the club a few weeks back where someone got hurt and ended up in hospital. As a result, the club have since decided that doing YOYO is too risky for them, and to not continue with us.

We’re extremely proud of the ten years we’ve been running, and feel very fortunate that we got to celebrate our tenth birthday in style, a month or so ago.
Again, thanks to everyone who’s played a part in making YOYO the best place in London to ruin your Friday, since 2002.
