Schott NYC and A Bathing Ape have reunited for the 2012 fall/winter season, resulting in this exclusive leather jacket. This time around the classic Schott NYC Riders jacket has been chosen as the base model. A rather in-depth process went in to choosing the type of leather that was used for the outer of the jacket. By selecting the hide of a cow that had birthed a calf over two years before, the team found that the resulting product was smoother and thinner than that of a steer but stronger and thicker than calfskin. To make sure whoever does purchase this jacket does not forget that it is a BAPE product, the nylon inner features an OG Green Camo pattern throughout. All other branding has been kept to a minimum, with no obvious logos on show, not even the traditional BAPE tag. The A Bathing Ape x Schott NYC Riders jacket is expected to release in the fall with a Japanese retail price of ¥84,000 JPY (approximately $1,070 USD).

Another Day, Another Collaboration as They Taking a further look into the earlier introduced Carhartt WIP x Vans Syndicate 2012 Fall Old Skool collection, we see the remaining colorways from the four-pair pack. Opting for a five-ounce cotton Herringbone upper rather than the previous Flecktarn camouflage pattern, the sneaker is in combination with waxed leather, a corduroy tongue, and blaze orange interior trim. It should be noted that the Flecktarn camouflage does makes an appearance on the inside footbed for each remaining colorway (natural, brown and black) and amongst the hidden details, a special Vans Carhartt rubber patch is also stamped on the back of the heel. The entire collection is available now at the Carhartt WIP online store for a price of £63 GBP (approximately $99 USD).

“The official release date for the highly anticipated debut major label album from rising rapper Kendrick Lamar—crowned the “new King of the West Coast” by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg at an L.A. concert last year—was announced today. good kid, m.A.A.d city (Top Dawg Entertainment/Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records) will be released October 22, 2012. Featured will be the single “Swimming Pool (Drank),” which was released July 31st and is produced by T-Minus. Lamar will introduce the album by headlining a nationwide tour that also includes the BET Music Matters Tour beginning September 7.”
