Both acts have confirmed the news via Twitter, with Rita Ora set to perform new single Shine Ya Light and No Doubt performing their new release Looking Hot. Rita returns to the show after acting as guest judge during the audition stages of the competition. Speaking about her time in the judging seat, she told the Metro newspaper that she could relate to the hopefuls. She said: “My advice was that they had three minutes to make a good impression to the public. “That was like me when I went for my record deal – I had three minutes to get signed.” This weekend she’ll be able to relate to them even further as she leaves the judge’s seat behind and takes to the stage.
No Doubt’s new album Push and Shove is their first in over ten year, following on from 2001′s Rock Steady. This week the group’s singer, Gwen Stefani, joined band mate Tony Kanal to mentor The X Factor hopefuls ahead of this weekend’s live shows. Their new single Looking Hot will be released on Tuesday and Rita Ora’s Shine Ya Light is due for release on November 17.
