Record Breaking First Week Sales Justin – Timberlake Album On The Verge Of 1 Million Copies

Congratulations are in order, despite losing his number one in the singles chart, there was Justin Timberlake stole the album chart top spot from David Bowie with The 20/20 Experience, moving near 950,000 units in it’s first week making his come back record the fastest-selling album of the year. Previously Justin’s 2006 FutureSex/LoveSounds debuted at No.1 with 684,000 copies sold, which makes The 20/20 Experience his most successful album to date in terms of units sold in release week.

The Saturdays Score First UK Number #1 Single


The Saturday’s have achieved their first number one single in the for of What About Us featuring Dance Hall King Sean Paul. The UK based girl group who are currently attempting to break America had previously scored 11 top 10 singles, three top 40 albums as well as 3.5 million record sales, previously the closest Frankie, Una, Vanessa, Molly and Rochelle had got to having a number one was number two hit a forgettable track titled.. .

“What About Us”, featuring Sean Paul, sold 114,000 copies – more than 40,000 copies ahead of Justin Timberlake, at number two with “Mirrors”, According to the Official Charts Company.

Little Mix Prepare For US Debut Featuring Missy Elliott

UK X factor winning girl group Little Mix are preparing to release their debut album DNA stateside, armed with new single which will be the foursomes’ fourth UK release and serve as the first US Single featuring legendary female MC Missy Elliott. The famed rapper known for her collaborations with Timberland, Aaliyah, Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera will collaborate with Little Mix on a remix to the album track song “How Ya Doin?”

Little Mix said: “We honestly can’t believe Missy is on our song! She’s been one of our biggest idols forever – it’s incredible. As soon as we thought there might be a chance she’d appear on the track we did literally everything we could to make sure it happened.”

The single will be released April 14th.
