Voice UK Judge Will.i.am is taking Pharrell to court. The Black Eyed Peas member/producer is reportedly suing Williams over his i am OTHER brand according to rap-up.com.
“He wants to prevent Pharrell from using his i am OTHER brand on clothing and other merchandise similar to products that bear his own I AM logo. “The registration of the mark . . . is likely to dilute the I AM mark and the WILL.I.AM mark,” reads the document.”
Lawyers acting on behalf of Pharrell and i am OTHER have responded to will.i.am’s lawsuit, denying all such claims.
Speaking on the legal dispute to Rolling Stone Pharrell said “I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions. I am surprised in how this is being handled and I am confident that Will’s trademark claims will ultimately be found to be as meritless and ridiculous as I do.”
#Sidenote: Will Will I am also attempt to sue Beyonce -Knowles Carter for releasing critically acclaimed six time Grammy Award winning album project titled “I Am…. Sacha Fierce.”/ as well as completing a successful worldwide tour titled “I Am World Tour.” which coincidently became a best selling DVD also?

Wil.I.Am you can not be serious with yourself. If someone is to name their brand this, there is no way anyone would think about linking it to your name as it would be a brand totally removed from the one you have devised for yourself.
Unless you feel that Pharrell is trying to encourage budding fans to dress like you (which I highly doubt, i could be wrong), I would then be very disappointed in Pharrell regarding his lack in stylistic vision and his faith in yours.
