In conjunction with the release of the Stüssy/Yo! MTV Raps collection, Stüssy produced a 2-part documentary entitled We Were All Watching. Part 1, The Importance of Yo! Do not ever ignore a threat from M.I.A.


Interscope Records gonna learned today as Friday morning Iconic rapper tweeted that she would leak her forthcoming album Matangi if the record label didn’t give her a release date.

The label promptly responded by announcing that M.I.A.’s album Matangi will be released on November 5.

Like M.I.A.’s Highly anticipated album Matangi, an excellent documentary was set to be released But due to politic the director Steve Loveridge has decided to drop out of the project after putting a teaser online and instantly being pulled out due to copyright infringement

New video : Spoek – Awufuni


South African artist, Spoek presents the latest video ‘Awufuni’, from his current release ‘Escape From ‘85’ – a mixtape of 12 tracks inspired by the year of his birth. Filmed on location in Soweto, the video brings to life the energy of the city, in homage to Izintombi Zesi Manje Manje, a female group that took South Africa by storm in the late 1960s.

The video for ‘Awufuni’ has been made with Studio Africa: an initiative championing musical artists inspired by their African heritage.

At the vanguard of a new wave of young African artists – defined and refined by his unique take on music – producer/singer/rapper Spoek is bringing an original and futuristic sound to a global following.
