Art by Thomas Seltzer : Jazz Prints (Series 1)


Brooklyn Artist Thomas Seltze presents the lImited edition prints of six jazz greats: Monk, Mingus, Miles, Coltrane, Ella & Sonny. Showcased at the first gallery show at The Aurora Gallery in Long Island City, Queens. Saying “My goal was simple: I wanted a great print of Thelonious Monk. I couldn’t find one, so I decided to make one myself. The rest of the series just followed naturally.”

Words from the Artist himself “For this second series of jazz prints, I wanted to expand the palette . The monochrome blues fit hard bop’s sound, but I needed a wider range of color to capture a wider range of music.”
