Music is a vehicle that allows you to express yourself and my favorite form of expression thus far, I have been around film makers, Visual artists, talented Graffiti Artist, Great and Talented Producers but to please and trying to fit in a certain box(smelly) I had to Dumb it down, sending wrong messages to the kids, Letting them think that The Nicki Minaj, Beyonce’s and other brainless puppets wether they got millions of dollars in their Bank accounts were the right type of role models, they ain’t helping your Mama but theirs with your money and also a piece of your mind
I don’t care anymore because I have nieces growing up I don’t want them to take them as Role Models, when you know there are real talent like the Black Male beats standing for strong values, The Wu-Tang clan teaching you real life lessons, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Bebi Philip and Fuse ODG as modern African Ambassadors, that made us a follower instead of the Leader we were born to be
We have been brainwashed, Bullied mentally and resulting in being gullible, please before it’s too late stop living a lie and a Double life, stand for what you believe in, This track I and you can related to, for those that hate their job but pay the bills, for those that have the courage to speak out, for the weak, for the unheard, the messed up mentally, there is artist like them guys speaking out for us so Keep fighting for you dream and if it has been snatched, go get it, Knock Tha Hustle
