Selfridges have launched a new collection of limited edition T-shirt designed by Katherine Hamnett. During the 1980s Hamnett’s oversized T-shirts used bold statements printed in block capitals which instantly became popular with pop bands. “Project Ocean” has recycled the concept for 2011 in order to highlight the issue of over-fishing. The white T-shirts designed by Hamnett feature slogans like “STOP AND THINK,” “NO MORE FISH IN THE SEA?” and “SAVE THE WORLD.” currently dominating the famous Oxford Street London window displays of Selfridges. Priced at £40, the T-shirts are available for men, women and children exclusively through Selfridges.
