Skrillex has come 4th in the BBC Sound of 2012 countdown. Los Angeles born Skrillex (aka Sonny Moore) already has an impressive track record for a 23-year-old. Though he’d been dabbling with making electronic music since his early teens, Aphex Twin and The Prodigy were his early influences. He first came to public attention as the singer for post-hardcore band Screamo. I wouldn’t try to categorize his genre but to let you know what melodic dubstep is whats his amazing music sounds to me. We’re going to be hearing a lot from the Grammy nominated producer in this year as Machine Gun Kelly has already jumped on a track with the prodigy.
