Despite being categorized under the umbrella of “fast fashion,” H&M has always maintained a decidedly high-end approach to its seasonal lookbooks, imagery and visuals. Presenting its Winter 2012 range, the Swedish retail and fashion giant debuts a minimalist and cleaned up pictorial highlighting its range of menswear. For the impending season, the brand initially displays an affinity for all things formal wear via tailored blazers, skinny ties and knitwear. While overtones of formal garb are heavily promoted, H&M also displays a certain proclivity for infusing each of its pieces with a flair for the edgy and unconventional as leather detailing, waxed textiles, paneled fabrics, letterman jacket silhouettes, hoodies, and even double-rider-influenced jackets are thrown into the mix. Pairing beanies and gloves as well as a plethora of other accessories, H&M strikes an all-encompassing balance that affords wardrobe options for any setting or situation. Look for the range to begin hitting H&M locations soon.
