With the worlds of high-fashion and street wear converging in 2012 like no other year in recent memory, the heightened visibility of iconic luxury brands has provided a well of inspiration for a number of street labels. New at Kith NYC is the debut of 40 oz NYC, a brand seen on a host of celebrity heads, from Kendrick Lamar and Victor Cruz to DJ Khaled.
The label’s black on black snapbacks, meanwhile, draw upon Givenchy and Balmain iconography for their eye-catching designs — Balmain’s distinctive lettering and the star motif made popular by Riccardo Tisci. Made in limited quantities, the hats will be available in black on black from the label’s website on December 3 and exclusively at Kith NYC from December 4.
