Beyonce Knowles Carter is booked to headline Chime for Change’s “The Sound of Change Live” global concert on June 1 at Twickenham Stadium in London, with a host of other talented performers including John Legend, Rita Ora, Iggy Azalea,Florence + the Machine, Ellie Goulding and Timbaland.
Grand Hustles’s First Lady Iggy and Soul Singer John Legend made the announcement at a press conference in London on Tuesday.
Chime for Change, whose founding committee includes Beyoncé, Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini, and actress Salma Hayek, is a global campaign to raise funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s empowerment.
