Amongst the madness of LFW a few collections stick with you. Once such collection was the rather haunting presentation of Little Shilpa, held in the exhibition room of the Freemason’s hall.
The experience was like being aboard a Borg cube whilst a Vulcan ritual was taking place. Each model held a torch underneath their faces whilst they moved around with a kind of random choreography, glaring at the spectators like tortured animals to some avant-garde music.
We loved the theatrical/futuristic appeal of the designs, which have a mixture of organic and religious motifs.
