Wilson Pickett was an American R&B, soul and rock and roll singer and songwriter known for playing a major role in the development of American soul music.
Recording with stars such as Little Richard and The Supremes, his impact on songwriting and recording led to his 1991 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
