“The RAW for the Ocean collection highlights G-STAR’s commitment to bringing awareness to the issue of plastic pollutants in our oceans, and sets an example for what responsible clothing manufacturing can look like.
RAW for the Ocean garments are made using bionic yarn, a thread made by recycling used plastics, thereby greatly reducing the dumping of these plastics into our oceans.
We wanted to use this photo series as a way to showcase how closely connected we are with the ocean in our everyday lives, no matter where we find ourselves in the world.”
