As a Londoner growing up, Surrey based theme park Thorpe Park has been an integral part of many of our lives. Be it family trips during the summer holiday primary school years where height restrictions meant that The Flying Fish and The Teacup Ride were the highlights of your day. Then to the teen years where you were grown enough to head down with friends and enjoy the thrills of roller-coasters Stealth, Detonator, Rush, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Saw and Swarm.
So imagine our excitement here at i-likeitalot when Thorpe Park reached out to us directly to invite us down to the exclusive launch night of the new ‘I’m A celebrity Maze’. What did we think? Find out by clicking ‘more’ below’
Ok so picture the dream of being one of 100 people on a guest list that gave you access to the best roller-coasters and the new maze but with no queueing up for rides and unlimited chances to stay on if you felt like multiple thrills? That was our reality!
The main event, The I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Maze’ Was good fun. The main draw of the Maze are the four fun bush-tucker trials that you have to complete as a team to get to the end of the maze after the initial plaza screen greeting from Ant & Dec. The maze is the perfect attraction to visit for active parents with tweens, or a group of friends who want a lower octane thrill in between roller coasters.
Another fun element of the maze is the creepy crawly confectionery available at the gift shop as well as the jungle inspired menu at the new pop up restaurant Bush BBQ , located next to the maze.
Simply put the night was an absolute blast which the team really enjoyed. The Maze is open to the public from the 27th March 2015. Tickets can be purchased here.
