Raury is deeply connected to a much more powerful source. In a world of people attempting to sound profound by using code or wrapping every basic statement in irrelevant metaphors, Raury speaks loudly, clearly, and directly to you. I had the fortune of meeting him for a brief moment last year, and even still to this day, it’s so hard to believe that this inspiring gent is only 19; what a beautiful glimpse of the future!
Raury’s edgy track is a call for us to stop chasing irrelevant transient possessions, a reminder that when we obtain power, we must use it for the benefit of mankind – and he is a man of his word, living by his own voice, calling our generation to action. To be honest, that’s what I love most about him – is that he is setting an example to live by, not just talking about it. His music, while epic, is just a small fragment of his limitless potential.
