“Roc Nation will release U.K. artist RØMANS’s debut EP Overthinking-Part 1 on July 10. The four track is a precursor to his upcoming full-length Overthinking due this autumn. Overthinking-Part 1 features lead single “Uh Huh,” as well as three new tracks.
New to Roc Nation, RØMANS is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer now taking the lead with his own music. Originally, RØMANS wrote and produced a body of work that he created without the intention to release as his own project. Co-founder of Roc Nation Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith recalls, “The plan was to get the songs placed, but when I heard them I knew no one else could sing these like ROMANS. I can’t wait for everyone to hear his music.”
ROMANS will be performing in London at the Blue Flowers promoted show at The George IV, W4 2DR on Thursday 16th July alongside fellow rising star Frances, get in touch for guest list.
As a producer and songwriter RØMANS has worked with Disclosure, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Naughty Boy, AlunaGeorge, Clean Bandit, Sigma, Kwabs, Birdy and more. Additionally, he was recently featured on “Home” off Naughty Boy’s debut-album, Hotel Cabana.
RØMANS is a self-taught musician (drums, guitar, piano, brass and more). He left school at the age of 16 to pursue songwriting and production. He signed with Roc Nation in May 2014, this is his first solo recording. RØMANS hails from the historically musical town of Pinner, Middlesex.”
