KwolleM’s first Mellow Grime project aims to illustrate that the juxtaposition that is Mellow Grime simply…works. That even Tempa T can caress a Dr Dre-esque beat and still be grimy. Furthemore, to show the thinking behind the sub-genre/ fusion of the British mc genres (UK Rap, Hip Hop & Grime) that is Mellow Grime, which is that if genuinely & undoubtably British, it is still grime. There are vocals from Grime scene legends like Dizzee Rascal & Skepta, N-Dubz who saw commercial success, as well as up & coming Grime hot prospects AJ Tracey, Jevon & Joe James Flames. But a Mellow Grime project would incomplete with the additions of Rayf.
