The results are in, the question which appeared on the UK ballot paper was “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?” The votes were counted overnight and at around 7am Friday 24th June the final count results were announced and published as follows.
The majority decided to exit the European Union, which prompted David Cameron to resigned as Prime Minister after Britain voted to leave the EU. #Brexit = Britain / Exit
