Sixteen time Grammy Award winning Singer/Songwriter Beyonce Knowles unveils a cryptic clue via her Tumblr page in the form of a promotional image with the caption “Countdown to Touch Down.” Within seconds the news had set Beyonce’s loyal fan base the “beehive,” buzzing across various different social media platforms. At closer inspection the above image and caption decoded is a promotional image created as a promotional tool in preparation of the event of the year, scheduled to be the Superbowl XLVI half time show where the “Diva.” Entertainer will hit the stage on 3rd February 2013 in New Orleans.
The Associated Press on Tuesday (October 16) verified that Mrs. Beyonce Knowles Carter “will perform at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, scheduled for February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.”
If Beyonce’s performance at the Pepsi NFL Halftime Show features collaborations, this could include appearances from rapper Jay-Z, Destiny Child’s, Sean Paul, Usher, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, Kanye West or Lady Gaga, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Frank Ocean.
