Song Of the Week
Our Song of the Week is So Far to Go, A song taken from The Shining the second solo album from Super Producer and rapper J Dilla. Featuring Common & D’Angelo this song was originally to be released by Common in 2005 as part of his album Be for a special edition package. In 2007, an alternate version of So Far to Go containing new verses and a new mix was released on Common’s Finding Forever album.

Eve Visits The Wendy Williams Show
After an eleven years gap since releasing her last album, Ruff Ryders First Lady Eve finally returned to the music scene with a complete independent album called “Lip Lock.” The “Gangsta Lovin.” Rapper who received a nomination for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards 2013, created a buzz by booking “GMA” and “106 & Park” last week. Whilst completing press time for various different outlets Eve also sat down with Wendy Williams to talk good talk about her time out from music and why it took her so long to deliver a brand new album as well as discussing, DMX, moving to London, dating rich men, other female rappers, the future and more. The Last Days of Left Eye is a documentary directed by Lauren Lazin which originally premiered back in 2007. Filmed from March 30, 2002 until April 25, 2002, focusing on a spiritual sabatical break at a retreat in Honduras ahead of the realese of critically aclaimed album Supernova the documentary is interesting and insightful, detailing the TLC stars true story narrated by herself. Sadly Lisa Left Eye Lopes was killed when she lost control while driving a Mitsubishi Jeep. The vehicle was forced off road news reports detailed the Jeep rolling several times, hitting trees the force of the impact caused Lopes who was driving and three others to be thrown from the wreckage out of the busted windows. The person in the front passenger seat was videotaping at the time, so the last seconds leading up to the swerve that resulted in the dealy accident were recorded on video, miracolously Lisa severe head trauma, and was the only person fatally injured in the accident.
