Lady Gaga Announces European *Born This Way* Tour Dates

Last week Gaga tweeted about the tour and its elaborate set-up The heir of the throne added “The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage” and it seems like Live Nation is again behind this tour, after steering most of Gaga’s 2010-2011 “Monster Ball” tour, which grossed $188 million from 167 shows. She also tells us “The Born This Way Ball is an electro-metal pop opera. The tale of the beginning, the genesis of the kingdom of fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.” WOW them drugs are powerful.

Beyonce simply asked Glastonbury 2011 revellers a question “are you ready to be entertained?.” And entertainment is what she provided as she put on a world class show drawing in one of the biggest crowds that the Pyramid stage has ever seen, opening the show with the track that established Beyonce as a solo artist internationally, Beyonce owned the Pyramid stage as an international superstar rocking, dancing and living every moment, taking time out to appreciate and bask in the amazing energy generated by the crowd who gave Beyonce a standing ovation and supported Beyonce 100%, transcending the ordinary and performing hit after hit after hit. Beyonce Knowles-Carter’s set, was punctuated with flawless live performances and never before seen renditions of Prince-The Beautiful Ones and Kings Of Leon-Sex Is On Fire covers alongside the biggest hits of Beyoncé’s career which had the crowd singing every lyric to every song. Glastonbury 2011 will be remembered for years to come as the year that Beyonce stole the show as this was one of the best performers to grace the fields of Worthy farm ever. Beyonce was the first female artist to perform as a headline act at Glastonbury and the performance speaks for itself.
