Whitney Houston Homegoing Ceremony Recap

Whitney Houston was be laid to rest today at an invitation-only funeral in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Ms Houston’s family and friends were gathered at New Hope Baptist Church, where she grew up, to celebrate the life of the legendary singer know as the voice (Whitney Houston).

Invited guests include Bobby Brown, Mariah Carey, L.A. Reid, Clive Davis, Brandy, Ray J, and Kevin Costner with confirmed musical tributes by Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, R. Kelly, Kim Burrell, BeBe Winans, and more.

Fantasia Speaks On Whitney Houstons Death

Fantasia spoke about Whitney’s passing at her concert in Chicago February 14, 2012. Having also had her fair share of ups and downs following rumours that Fantasia Barrino was reportedly having an affair with a married man Antwaun Cook in August 2010, Fantasia was allegedly hospitalised in late August after attempting to commit suicide and later in the year announced that she was pregnant. American Idol Singer Fantasia who also started singing at a young age hailing from a church background is currently drama free and spoke during her Valentines Day performance about Whitney Houston and the curses that fame can bring. She also was an important member of the Sony Music family who spent her storied recording career with Arista Records. She will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to her daughter and her entire family.”

Whitney Houston Dies Aged 48

Diva Original Whitney Houston has passed away aged 48 years old. The legendary voice, the most awarded female singer in history, star of film’s The bodyguard, Waiting To Exhale and most recently Sparkle. Whitney Houston is one of the most inspiring vocalists of our time, died earlier this afternoon. The singers publicist Kristen Foster released a statement to the Associated Press confirming Whitney Houston’s death. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Bobby Brown, Bobby Christina Brown and Whitney Houston’s friends and family. Her influence will continue to live on, her voice, innovation, music, success, artistry, ego, competence, drive, style, ambition and confidence are timeless. R.I.P Whitney Houston.
