Kid Cudi Possibly Featured On Kendrick Lamar’s “good kid, m.A.A.d city”

“Kendrick Lamar speaks on his collaboration with Kid Cudi, hopes to work with Sade and D’Angelo in the future. Aside from the album’s newly-pushed back release date, details on Kendrick Lamar’s debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city remain pretty scarce, but during an interview with Nessa of Wild 94.9 the Compton rapper revealed that a collaboration with fellow emcee Kid Cudi may be featured on the album.”

“I just recently did a Kid Cudi collabo,” Kendrick revealed. “I like Kid Cudi a lot. He got a crazy, unique [style]. I just really felt the opportunity to knock that out on this next, upcoming album.”

“On top of briefly speaking on his work with Kid Cudi, the rapper also rattled down the list of artists he would love to work with in the future. Among the artists mentioned were Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, and Sade.
Aside from the collaborations he’s already knocked out and collabs that he’ll hopefully secure further down the road, Kendrick also spoke on sharing the spotlight with other artists.”

“The West Coast tend to focus on one project at a time. In like a five-year span. We look at one artist at a time,” said Kendrick in a video posted on Soul Culture. “I wanna kill that cause it’s so much other talent out here that deserves to be looked at. But if I’m at the forefront I’m just gonna make sure it’s refreshing and make sure I’m not only out here representing myself, but everybody else.”
