Old Spice Saves The World
“Old Spice have made a solid name for themselves as a brand with a sense of humour. Their latest campaign looks like it will do very little to damage that reputation. As we all know, the world will come to a loud, messy end on the 21st of December, but all is not lost as apparently the only way to prevent this cataclysm is if NBA pro-basketballer, Dikembe Mutombo, with the help of his Old Spice jetpack, can complete various tasks revealed every week. Much like the Hermés‘ 8 Ties project this campaign harks back to the bygone era of 8-bit graphics as the various levels take players on a surreal journey through the Old Spice universe.”

“Get familiar with designer Rob Garcia as he shows us the method to the madness of the En Noir brand in the latest installment of our Cut and Show series.
We first talked about En Noir when we spotted none other than Kanye West rocking their leather sweatpants in the “Birthday Song” music video—other celebrities quickly followed suit. That’s when we tracked down designer Rob Garcia and rapper CurT@!n$ in order to find out a little bit more about the brand. As we delved deeper into the mythology surrounding En Noir, the cooler it became.
Today, En Noir’s official e-boutique re-opens, offering up some of the brand’s most coveted pieces to the masses. They may not have flat screens for $200, but this is certainly the most important Black Friday event of the year.”

“Mr Vegas’s “Bruk It Down” is coming back at you with a tropical, uptempo music video including a special appearance from the Caribbean Queen, the ‘Roll It Gal’ herself, Alison Hinds. From the kitchen in Trinidad, to a traffic stop in Jamaica, the beach party in Barbados and back to the operating room in New York it’s evident the “Bruk It Down” dance is too contagious to be contained!”

The excellent Givenchy Creative Director Ricardo Tisci is Named by GQ Designer of the Year, here are some words from the magazine :
“Riccardo Tisci, the 38-year-old designer, reinvented Givenchy, turned around its fortunes, and conquered both the runways of Paris and the streets of Atlanta. But he also did something much more risky: Molly Young infiltrates the atelier of the man who got Kanye West to wear a skirt.”
