New Armani short film featuring Nadal

In the beginning there was David Beckham. Then there was Cristiano Ronaldo. But for the last two seasons there has only been one name associated with Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear : Rafael Nadal. You might already be familiar with some of the Ads, you might even have seen one of the billboards but you’ll never seen Rafael Nadal like this. The video was shot by the director Johan Renck, drawing on the inspiration from the theme behind this year’s Emporio Armani collection: gritty industrial and urban, grey backgrounds with film noir. The video starts with Nadal as hero dressed in black tie, in an obvious hurry, running hard through an empty parking lot. Under his arm he has a package. From a variety of angles, we see him running with long fast strides, undressing as he goes through the garage, and casting all off the garments to the floor. Bow tie, shirt, shoes etc, until he ends up just in his underwear… The rest? Watch for yourselves after the jump
