Instagram is rapidly taking over as the dominant art-form over the last couple of years and Mercedes are getting in on the action this April with a groundbreaking exhibition.

Mercedes are inviting the insgram community to share their most unusual instagram pictures with the tag #untamed. The best pictures will be exhibited at the installation in the beautiful city of Paris in April.

Vanity Fair’s annual Oscar Party at the Graydon Center at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood provided the backdrop for the super glamourous A list only event. Vanity Fair invited Oscar award winning stars past and present including Jennifer Hudson, Anne Hatherway, the girl who fell Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Daniel Radcliffe and more. Other noted celebrity guests who attended the invitation only Gala included Solange Knowles, Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton, John Legend and his fiance Chrissy Teigen. The stars showed up and showed out to celebrate in Atlanta with Jermaine Dupri in honour of So So Def’s 20 year anniversary Saturday 23rd February. The groundbreaking celebration concert which took place at The Fox Theatre in ATL and featured live performances from artists from the So So Def roster past and present who impacted the charts collaborating with Jermaine resulting on some of the hottest hip hop, r’n’b records within the 20 years helping to define the now signature So So Def sound that helped give performers hit records that were certified club bangers. Boasting performances from So So Def artists including Bow Wow, Da Brat, Anthony Hamilton, Dondria, Jagged Edge, Xscape, as well as Ludacris, Usher, Young Jeezy, Jay-Z and an appearance from Mariah Carey who also came to celebrate the hard work, perseverance and incredible talent that is Producer Jermaine Dupri and the So So Def imprint.

Last night we hit the red carpet at the Empire Leicester Square for the premiere of ‘Flight.’ The Latest Robert Zemeckis film starring Denzel Washington and Kelly Reilly. Other celebrities attending included Jamelia, Alex Zane and Ozwald Boateng.
Denzel is up for an Oscar for is performance as an alcoholic pilot called Whip. Sadly no interviews from us this time round but there will be a review coming shortly.

Last week during London Collections Tommy Hilfiger and Esquire magazine held an event to launch his tailored collection at the Zetter Townhouse in London.
We went down to check it out and found ourselves inside an ornate victorian townhouse, surrounded by celebrities, champagne and canapes. Even the DJ’s were Celebrities…
Highlights of the evening included rubbing shoulders with Matt Smith, the current face of Doctor Who, and Benedict Cumberbatch, soon to be destroying the earth in the latest Star Trek movie in the summer.

Kicking off 2013 at 18 Hewett street in Shoreditch tonight is an exhibition devoted to the infra-red remote.
It’s been nearly 60 years since the recently departed Eugene Polly invented the now ubiquitous device. As an homage to the man and his creation Chris Shen has turned the tables and created a screen out of hundreds of discarded remotes, which reveals an image through infra-red glasses.

Earlier on this week, I received an omninous invitation from Lynx to attend an event in Wimbledon Studios where there would be “…an announcement from a living legend.”
Intrigued by this I braved the rush-hour tube ride on the Northern line to the depths of South London to be greeted by an Astronaut who led us to the launch of the Lynx Space Academy.
On arrival you could have mistaken the launch for an episode of Battlestar Gallactica. There were girls in 70’s Sci-Fi costumes, Aliens who looked like Danny Dyer, space candy and a cloakroom that looked like a lunar landing module. Entertainment was provided by Dynamo who flirted with the crowd through the medium of magic. George Lamb was master of ceremonies whilst Daisy Lowe was the celebrity DJ.
After a two hour countdown and copious amount of beverages, Buzz Aldrin appeared on a giant screen to tell the world that Lynx are running a worldwide competition to be one of 22 people to get a free ride into Space aboard the Lynx SXC. Then the shuttle was revealed in all it’s glory, and the party continued into the small hours.
