Sony Music Comments on the Passing of Whitney Houston

Sony Music Entertainment has issued the following statement regarding Whitney Houston:

“Whitney Houston was an icon and a once-in-a-lifetime talent who inspired a generation of singers and brought joy to millions of fans around the world. She had a voice of unmatched beauty and power that changed music forever, and she leaves behind an indelible legacy of timeless songs that will never be forgotten. She also was an important member of the Sony Music family who spent her storied recording career with Arista Records. She will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to her daughter and her entire family.”

Grammy Awards 2012 : Nicki Minaj Performance The exorcism of Roman

The Queens’s South Jamaica rapper kicked it off her Grammys Performance by confessing her new single, “Roman Holiday,” for the world to see, an intriguing performance that aroused the curiosity and the interest from the music fans. She recreated the scene from the movie “The exorcist” with a performance entirely inspired by the catholic church. Grammy Awards 2012 : Foo Fighters won five Grammys

Last night big winners were british band The Foo Fighters’ “Wasting Light” collected the rock album Grammy Award. Here is Dave Grohl statement yesterday at the Grammy Awards 2012

“To me, this award means a lot because it shows the human element of making music is what’s most important—singing into a microphone, learning to play an instrument, and learning to do your craft, that’s the most important thing for people to do. It’s not about being perfect, it’s not about sounding absolutely correct, it’s not about what goes on in the computer, it’s about what goes on in here (points at his heart), and it’s about what goes on in here (points at his head).”

Whitney Houston Dies Aged 48

Diva Original Whitney Houston has passed away aged 48 years old. The legendary voice, the most awarded female singer in history, star of film’s The bodyguard, Waiting To Exhale and most recently Sparkle. Whitney Houston is one of the most inspiring vocalists of our time, died earlier this afternoon. The singers publicist Kristen Foster released a statement to the Associated Press confirming Whitney Houston’s death. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Bobby Brown, Bobby Christina Brown and Whitney Houston’s friends and family. Her influence will continue to live on, her voice, innovation, music, success, artistry, ego, competence, drive, style, ambition and confidence are timeless. R.I.P Whitney Houston.
