Outkast other half Andre 3000, Gorillaz and former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy have joined forces to create an original track entitled “DoYaThing,” for Legendary brand Converse as it will be released as a free download on February 23rd on Converse’s official website to couple with a new Gorillaz footwear collection designed by Jamie Hewlett. “DoYaThing” is the latest installation of Converse’s “Three Artists One Song” campaign. Previous collaborations include Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy and Andrew W.K. for “I’m A Goner,” Santigold, Pharrell and Julian Casablancas on “My Drive Thru” and Kid Cudi, Rostam Batmanglij from Vampire Weekend and Best Coast on “All Summer”. “There were moments where it could have gone all bad … just all of us just being creative people,” Cudder told MTV at the time. “But I think since the energy was good … we all found a way and we hit a couple of brick walls but we found ways around it.”
