Our Song of the Week is So Far to Go, A song taken from The Shining the second solo album from Super Producer and rapper J Dilla. Featuring Common & D’Angelo this song was originally to be released by Common in 2005 as part of his album Be for a special edition package. In 2007, an alternate version of So Far to Go containing new verses and a new mix was released on Common’s Finding Forever album.
Joey Bada$$ released another J Dilla production for his latest offering Two Lips via Akomplice Clothing which will be donating 100% of the collection profits to buy instruments and music lessons for underprivileged kids.

We’ve learned that J. Dilla One on our list considered as the top five producers of all time. there will be a Project entitled J. Dilla’s Dillatroit EP is set to be released May 25, it is said to have 12 never-before-heard tracks by Dilla. To hear some creation by one of the music industry’s most influential hip-hop artist will be an immeasurable pleasure and plus Rebirth of Detroit supposed to arrive June 12, 2012 it is early presents for us all.
