Jay-Z performed a charity concert at Carnegie Hall in New York on behalf of United Way of New York City and The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. One of the highlights of the show was when Jay Z performed Glory in honour of his one month old daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Backed by a 36-piece orchestra, Hip-Hop entrepreneur and icon Sean Carter performed the Neptunes-produced track for the first time ever. Watch the performance below.

Beyoncé joined husband Jay-Z at the after-party for his United Way Carnegie Hall charity concert. Beyoncé made her first public appearance since giving birth to Baby Blue Ivy Carter on Feb. 7, 2012! Less than one month after giving birth in Support of Jay-Z and friends, as well as the United Way of New York City /The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. Beyonce looked radiant, noticeably curvier in a figure hugging red dress by Temperly, jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz, Gold clutch by Alexander McQueen, embroidered shoes by Christian Louboutin complete with royal blue manicure paying to tribute to newborn Ivy Blue Carter. With the natural birth of Blue Ivy Carter, Jay Z marked the occasion by dedicating an unreleased track titled glory paying tribute to his wife and mother of his daughter Beyonce Knowles-Carter and their new born baby girl Blue Ivy, rumour has it that the unique name stems from a combination of the genius bodies of work that many say consist of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s best work, Blue as in The Blueprint and Ivy as in the roman numerals IV representative of Beyonce’s current album 4. Jay Z goes of to talk about Blue Ivy being conceived in Paris, the most amazing feeling he has ever felt, and Beyonce’s miscarriage back in 2007.
