Usher gave awesome performance of his greatest hits with hot choreography, excellent vocals, awesome stage visuals, sexy dancers and indoor fireworks. Everyone who was anyone came through to pay homage and support the hardest working man in R’n’B. In summary this Usher event was a show of epic proportions, giving his fans everything the American Express Unstaged event reaffirmed Usher’s position as R’nB’s best male entertainer/ recording/ performance artist alive. Many are quick to forget that Usher has been making hits non stop since the age of thirteen, touring worldwide with every project he has ever released. Although there may be other chart topping artists that dominate the charts #Beyonce #Adele et al, these female artists cannot offer what Usher as an artists provides, his insight, swagger, ability to speak on issues from a male point of view, his choreography, signature vocals and ability to stay relevant. Usher remains a global superstar, he manages to balance style and substance without compromising his artistic integrity, consistently providing high quality and innovative concepts within the realm of R’n’B.

Lauryn Hill was in London town for her first U.K. performance in five year at the indigO2 on Saturday April 14. Arriving two hours late, then launching into her set list. The performance which lasted 90 minutes was a mixture of Fugees classics, with offerings off her one album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The set was energetic, entertaining and soulful a majority of fans were mesmerised by the beauty, timelessness and tone of Lauryn’s voice in song, a few fans were left disappointed with the lack of new material and rightfully so, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released in 1998 and The Fugees, The Score Album even earlier. For the come back gig Ms Hill wore a long metal coloured dress, natural hair with beautiful accessories inspired by Africa and a jacket that never came off. Touching down in South Africa, R’n’b Superstar Usher, (who arrived on the same flight as Producer Rico Love) will headline the Hansa Festival of Legends at Orlando Stadium in Soweto today. Ahead of the performance and taking a short break from rehearsals, Usher visited Johannesburg Zoo, check out a few of the photos of Usher with wild animals, including a picture of Usher risking his life to pet a cheetah.
Back in September 2011 Beyonce and Tina Knowles hosted the most splendid fashion show to celebrate the launch of the UK debut of the House of Dereon collection. I-likeitalot.com attended the main show and after party. The Invitation only event guestlist included Alexandra Burke, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Labrinth, Paloma Faith, Rachel Stevens, Rosario Dawnson and Rita Ora to name a few. The fashion show was urban and edgy, the setting Selfridges indoor car park converted into a fashion show complete with runway, in the heart of London’s west end. The special guests who had front row seats (reserved) received a Selfridges gift bag containing a candle, Pulse Beyonce’s newest fragrance and a buyers list of items that appear in the show. When the lights went down the fashion show started with a video montage of scenes of natural disasters played on the huge video installation, the destruction looked as if it came out of a Hollywood feature film, Beyonce’s voiceover clarified the inspiration behind the collection, from what I gathered the new collection was based on the theme of natural beauty in a world of adverse weather conditions the collection is coincidently based on the theme of the female Global Nomad. On the runway the collection was stunning, every single model that walked down the runway looked fantastic, the accessories, pattern, prints, colour and styling was bang on trend.
