Beyonce simply asked Glastonbury 2011 revellers a question “are you ready to be entertained?.” And entertainment is what she provided as she put on a world class show drawing in one of the biggest crowds that the Pyramid stage has ever seen, opening the show with the track that established Beyonce as a solo artist internationally, Beyonce owned the Pyramid stage as an international superstar rocking, dancing and living every moment, taking time out to appreciate and bask in the amazing energy generated by the crowd who gave Beyonce a standing ovation and supported Beyonce 100%, transcending the ordinary and performing hit after hit after hit. Beyonce Knowles-Carter’s set, was punctuated with flawless live performances and never before seen renditions of Prince-The Beautiful Ones and Kings Of Leon-Sex Is On Fire covers alongside the biggest hits of Beyoncé’s career which had the crowd singing every lyric to every song. Glastonbury 2011 will be remembered for years to come as the year that Beyonce stole the show as this was one of the best performers to grace the fields of Worthy farm ever.
