President Explains Rapper Tupac *2PAC* Shakur Hologram

“‘It was Dr Dre’s vision to bring this back to life,’ says Nick Smith president of the company that projected the Tupac hologram at Coachella. The Tupac hologram was several months in the planning and took nearly four months to create in a studio and though Smith was not able to reveal the exact price tag for the illusion, he said a comparable one could cost anywhere from $100,000 to more than $400,000 to pull off.” Check out MTV for the Entire story.

Glastonbury Highlights – Extended: Janelle Monae

Janelle Monáe treated festival goers to an amazingly soulful set. If some members of the audience did not know who Janelle Monae was know they know. Janelle Monae came armed with her ever evolving abundance of influences and her Wondaland collective to Worthy farm to offer a real treat for the West Holts Stage.

Channelling a mixture between Blade Runner and James Browns, Janelle Monae stamped her unique vocal identity, style and charisma all over the stage. Her performance a genius mixture of original song compositions from her album’s Metropolis and ArchAndroid which had many debating if Janelle Monae stole the show and if there could ever be a performance that would surpass what ilikeitalot would easily class within the top 5 performances at Glastonbury festival 2011. Janelle Monae and the Worderland Collective’s unique live show was the icing on the festival cake and they even treated fans to a pleasant surprise as hundreds of party balloons were launched into the audience during the performance of hit single “Tightrope.” Clearly a career defining moment, as Monae’s explosive set will go down as one of the great performances at Glastonbury for years to come.
