To get into the spirit of Halloween, Stussy teamed up with legendary Creepy magazine for a series of Tee shirts and hats, using original art pulled from the archives of Creepy. Creepy was a hugely popular American horror-comic magazine launched by Warren Publishing in 1964. It was a black-and-white newsstand publication featuring art by some of the most influential comic book artists of all time, including Frank Frazetta, Steve Ditko, Neal Adams, and John Severin. Creepy Magazine has been cited by many of the old school graffiti legends and illustrators from skateboarding industry as a major influence on them when they were growing up. Stussy caught up with current Creepy Magazine owner Dan Braun in New York to hear about this historical publication.

What do you get when Katy B comes to her home town with her Rinse FM team. On Monday 24th October 2011 Katy B and friends performed at the Shepard’s Bush 02 Academy which quickly became a instant roadblock event. Many forget that this was a gig as energy levels transformed the Academy into an indoor rave, with insane strobe lighting and an atmosphere that was beyond electric. The full line up featured Roska/Zinc, Jamie George, P Money, Ms Dynamite and Katy B. Each artist playing a full set including signature club smashes.

A couple of weeks ago Red Bull wrapped up it’s world tour with a one of event at the London Eye called Red Bull Revolutions in Sound. With 30 different artist performing simultaneously in each of the pods, this must have been a logistical nightmare to organise.
Thankfully it went off without a hitch. Each Pod had around 20 guests, whilst each pod was streamed live on the internet and to the silent disco on the ground. Our pod of choice was the legendary David Rodigan… definitely a night to remember!
If you missed out on the night you can still listen to the live streams here.
