MTV Video Music Awards 2012 Nominees Announced‬

The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 Nominees have been announced and below is a list of competitors who qualify for Gold, Silver and Bronze this olympic year in terms of number of nominations:

Gold: Rihanna and Drake lead with five award nominations each.

Silver: Katy Perry has been nominated for four awards.

Bronze: Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, M.I.A., The Throne, and Coldplay qualify with three nominations each.

The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 will be take place at the Staples Centre LA: with live performances on the evening from Alicia Keys and One Direction. ‬

The video narrative follows the day in the life of beautiful young lady who just happens to work as a stripper dancing to pay for college fees and support her family. Tyga plays the role of the customer and drops racks, however the story does not have a happy ending, the following day the bar is empty when Tyga’s favourite stripper starts her shift.

Rihanna – You Da One Behind The Scenes Snippet

Rihanna rocks her famous blonde bob in new music video for “You Da One,” the second single off her Talk That Talk album, produced by Dr. Luke. Rihanna (Government Name Robin Fenty) flew to London last month to shoot the Melina-directed clip exhibiting what can only be described as Rihanna’s blonde ambition. Drawing inspiration from Beyonce, Mary J Blige wigs The visual is said to be loosely based on Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 film A Clockwork Orange, which has nothing to do with the songs narrative.
