NEW YORK, NY, August 22, 2016 – Platinum-selling Atlanta rapper Future today announced that he will perform at the 2016 “MTV Video Music Awards.” The performance will mark Future’s first appearance on the VMA stage. The 2016 VMAs will air LIVE from New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden for the first time ever on Sunday, August 28 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The Video Music Awards will air live from Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre L.A.) LIVE in LA on Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. Hosted by Miley Cyrus, check out the full list of nominees below.

The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 Nominees have been announced and below is a list of competitors who qualify for Gold, Silver and Bronze this olympic year in terms of number of nominations:
Gold: Rihanna and Drake lead with five award nominations each.
Silver: Katy Perry has been nominated for four awards.
Bronze: Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, M.I.A., The Throne, and Coldplay qualify with three nominations each.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 will be take place at the Staples Centre LA: with live performances on the evening from Alicia Keys and One Direction.
