The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 Nominees have been announced and below is a list of competitors who qualify for Gold, Silver and Bronze this olympic year in terms of number of nominations:
Gold: Rihanna and Drake lead with five award nominations each.
Silver: Katy Perry has been nominated for four awards.
Bronze: Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, M.I.A., The Throne, and Coldplay qualify with three nominations each.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2012 will be take place at the Staples Centre LA: with live performances on the evening from Alicia Keys and One Direction.
