I-likeitalot Individuals Streetstyle Week #2

I-likeitalot presents to you our own perspective of street style. Each week of the year we will be shooting individuals with their own style as we salute each person originality, their unique and individual fashion sense that reflects their character. Most people don’t realize the world has few innovators and the mass are just imitators because of the fear of failure and the fear to present their true self. So many people have brilliant innovative ideas but they are afraid that it will not be accepted, it’s the reason why leaders and truly creative people do not fear because they live in their world and function on their own, that’s what I call Individuals because they possesses this “Je ne sais Quoi” factor that can’t be defined. Check out all the Individuals after the Jump and share your thoughts

Innovation + Reinvention : The Lacoste Lab

The Lacoste Lab revives the tradition of innovation, appearing in the genes of the brand In addition to its
famous polo L.12.12 the crocodile brand prepares tomorrow today by identifying products that could represent the future of the brand, and seeking new materials, new designs. The campaign directed by Christophe Pillet included hot products such as a bicycle, cricket bat, piqué wetsuit, rugby ball, tennis racket, skis, motorcycle helmet, cricket, tennis and golf balls, surfboard, and even a concept-car designed with Citroen. I believe Lacoste is more a style than a fashion brand. Permanently revisiting its great classics, Lacoste creates timeless and high-quality designs. I just Like it a lot.

VV Brown In V Magazine Pop Rocks: Fearless Women Of Music 2012

Cassie, Solange and VV Brown are featured in V magazines Pop Rocks feature, celebrating five fearless women of music described as being ” smarter, franker and less false.” the women talk recording, production, the meaning, mood and message behind their music due to be released in 2012 check out a snippet of the images and some pull quotes from the feature below.

VV BROWN
“My second album has a message: it’s about my generation and things going on in the world, but I didn’t want it to come across preachy. I love writing upbeat songs with darker undertones. Sometimes you want to shy away from political things because people will tell you to leave that to the politicians, but I want my fans to hear a message that is about questioning the world and getting them to question what fame is. I find it difficult to even say the word ‘fan.’ We’re all the same. As a generation, let’s evolve and shift away from celebrity culture, I think it’s really unhealthy.”
